RV-9 Model Viewer Program   

     MACD Version 2.3 adds Windows Vista support with a new Install Wizard. This new version includes custom wheel pants graphics, cockpit interior colors and a high resolution fuselage bitmap. The higher resolution provides more detail, smoother curves and improved graphics. To show you this, we came up with a new Model Viewer program so you can see for yourself how much better the model looks compared to previous versions.

You should know that in the RV-9 Model Viewer program, some functions have been disabled. You won't be able to load, save or change paint schemes. However, you will be able to get a real good look at the airplane while stationary or while it's flying in the R/C flight simulator.

In the full working version, every function has been enabled including access to all four models: the RV-7, RV-7A, RV-9 and RV9A.  If you are considering purchasing one of our programs and wanting to try before you buy, you should download the Cap 232 Free Trial  program,  a 15 day free trial program with all MACD paint scheme functions enabled.

    Version 2.3 - System Requirements

  • Pentium 400 Mhz PC, 128 MB memory, mouse, joystick, 17 inch monitor or better.
  • Windows Vista/XP/2000/Me/98/95 with DirectX 8.0 or higher.
  • A DirectX 8.0 compatible Graphics Adapter with 3D hardware acceleration.
    Any PC, built from the year 2001 until now, should already have 3D hardware acceleration built in. If not, MACD V 2.3 will display a message for you. The free trial program will also inform you. You can download the free trial  here.
  • Windows XP and Vista users already have DirectX 8.0 or higher installed in their systems so an upgrade is not required.
  • Users of Windows 2000/Me/98/95 will need to upgrade to DirectX 8 or 9, if you haven't done so already. DirectX is a free download from the Microsoft  DirectX website.

  • Please download the free trial program if you're not sure that your system meets the requirements. It will display a message for you if it doesn't.
