Pattern Model Viewer Program   

     MACD Version 2.1 introduces a high resolution fuselage bitmap. The higher resolution provides more detail, smoother curves and improved graphics. To show you this, we came up with a new Model Viewer program. With it, you can see for yourself how much better the model looks compared to the previous version.

You should know that in the Pattern Model Viewer program, some functions have been disabled. You won't be able to load or save your paint schemes. However, you can change colors on the airplane and view it while it's stationary or when it's flying in the R/C flight simulator.

In the full working version, every function has been enabled. If you are considering purchasing one of our programs and wanting to try before you buy, you should also download the Cap 232 Free Trial  program.   It's a 15 day free trial program with all MACD paint scheme functions enabled.

    Version 2.1 - System Requirements

  • Pentium 400 Mhz PC, 128 MB memory, mouse, joystick, 17 inch monitor or better.
  • Windows XP/2000/Me/98/95 with DirectX 8.0 or higher.

  • Windows VISTA is not compatible with MACD Version 2
    Due to changes in the new operating system by Microsoft, MACD will not install
    properly on Windows Vista. A fix for this problem may be available soon.

  • A DirectX 8.0 compatible Graphics Adapter with 3D hardware acceleration.
    Any PC, built from the year 2001 until now, should already have 3D hardware acceleration built in. If not, MACD V 2.1 will display a message for you. The free trial program will also inform you. You can download the free trial  here.
  • Windows XP users already have DirectX 8.0 or higher installed in their systems so an upgrade is not required.
  • Users of Windows 95/98/Me/2000 will need to upgrade to DirectX 8 or 9, if you haven't done so already. DirectX is a free download from the Microsoft  DirectX website.

  • Please download the free trial program if you're not sure that your system meets the requirements. It will display a message for you if it doesn't.
